Entrepreneurship Was the Starting Point
Patcheli Baptiste grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, where ownership and initiative were part of the environment around him. At 19, he obtained his insurance and investment licenses and entered financial services with Primerica. Rather than treating the opportunity simply as a sales position, he learned to build through people.
“The Kid”
His ability to recruit, develop and organize a team earned him the nickname “The Kid.” He helped build and manage the largest team under his Regional Vice President in Florida, recruiting more than 100 agents and helping the organization serve more than 100 clients each month. The experience became an early laboratory in leadership, financial education, duplication and scale.
Learning Systems at Scale
He later carried those lessons into Amazon AMZL operations. Patcheli advanced rapidly into leadership, overseeing more than 100 employees and joining a training team that traveled to different locations to develop associates and help launch new operations. There he saw another side of scale: systems, standards, accountability, training and repeatable execution.
Leadership in Public Service
Patcheli’s leadership journey also extended into Florida’s juvenile justice system. During academy training, he was selected as class president and helped bring together a tri-county group of professionals with different backgrounds and perspectives. His responsibility was not simply to hold a title, but to help the class operate with unity, accountability and a shared commitment to successfully complete the program. The experience reinforced a lesson that continues to shape his leadership: strong leaders create alignment, help people move as one, and keep the mission in focus when the environment demands discipline.
The Idea Behind LION
Those experiences shaped the question behind LION: what if financial knowledge, entrepreneurship, acquisitions, productive assets and legacy were not pursued separately, but designed to reinforce one another? Patcheli became the chief architect of Levels of Increasing Ownership & Net Worth—an ecosystem intended to turn education into ownership, ownership into enterprise, and enterprise into lasting impact.
