Begin Lesson 1

THE LION STARTING POINT

Income is useful. Ownership changes the destination.

The purpose of this free class is not to promise wealth. It is to help you understand your current position, identify what you want to protect and build, and leave with one measurable action you can execute in the next 30 days.

LIFE

Protect what would be financially damaged by an interruption in income.

TIME

Use disciplined saving, compounding and long-term planning to create options.

LEGACY

Develop readiness for ownership, stewardship and assets that can outlast income.

THE CODE OF THE CREST

The Serpent thinks. The LION moves.

Our logo is a teaching system. The serpent represents strategy, awareness, adaptability, patience, precision and renewal. The LION represents strength, courage, leadership, protection, disciplined focus and decisive execution. LION students are taught to develop both.

S

The Serpent • Strategy

Observe before reacting. Read the environment, question assumptions, adapt when conditions change, shed what no longer serves you and choose the right moment to move.

L

The LION • Strength

Execute with conviction. Protect what matters, hold the target, lead with courage, endure discomfort and act decisively once the strategy is sound.

Think like the Serpent. Move like the LION.

LESSON 1 • LIFE

Protect before you accelerate.

Financial progress becomes fragile when one interruption can erase years of effort. Begin by identifying exposure.

SERPENT: identify the hidden risk before it becomes a crisis.   LION: protect the pride before accelerating.
01

Know the obligations

List debts, housing, utilities, food, transportation and other essential monthly obligations.

Write: My essential monthly obligations total approximately $________.

02

Know the dependents

Identify the people who rely on your income and how long they would need support if that income stopped.

Write: The people financially dependent on me are __________________.

03

Know the interruption risk

Ask what happens if income is interrupted for 30, 90 or 180 days.

Reflection: What breaks first if my income stops tomorrow?

04

Create the LIFE priority

Your first assignment is to identify the single greatest protection gap requiring attention.

My LIFE priority is __________________.

LESSON 2 • TIME

Pay your future self.

Time can amplify disciplined behavior. The objective is to establish a repeatable saving habit and understand that long-term financial independence requires both time and consistency.

SERPENT: use patience, time and compounding deliberately.   LION: commit to the contribution and defend the habit.
01

Choose a starting percentage

Review whether 10%, 15% or 20% of take-home income is realistic after essential obligations and appropriate reserves.

My starting percentage: ______%.

02

Define independence

“Retirement” means different things to different people. Define the age, lifestyle and level of monthly income you associate with financial independence.

Financial independence means __________________.

03

Respect compounding

Compounding can reward consistency, but returns are never guaranteed. Time horizon, fees, taxes, risk and actual investment performance all matter.

What can I consistently contribute for the next 12 months?

04

Automate the habit

A goal becomes stronger when translated into a repeatable behavior.

On each payday I will direct $________ toward my future.

LESSON 3 • ACCESS

Prepare before opportunity arrives.

Opportunities often require liquidity, documentation, creditworthiness or the ability to explain your financial position clearly.

SERPENT: prepare documentation, reserves and terms before opportunity arrives.   LION: move decisively when the opportunity is sound.
01

Cash readiness

Build appropriate reserves so every opportunity does not become an emergency.

Current liquid reserves: $________.

02

Credit readiness

Know your reports, payment history, utilization and obligations. Credit is not wealth, but responsible credit can affect access to capital.

One credit factor I need to improve: __________________.

03

Documentation readiness

Keep tax returns, bank records, business filings, income documentation and financial statements organized.

The document I most need to organize is __________________.

04

Borrow responsibly

Capital should have a clear purpose, affordable structure and a realistic repayment source.

Before borrowing, I will know the cost, purpose and repayment source.

LESSON 4 • LEGACY

Move from earning toward owning.

Income pays today. Ownership can create future cash flow, control, equity and something transferable—when the underlying asset is sound and responsibly managed.

SERPENT: choose assets and structures with discernment.   LION: own, protect and steward what you build.
01

Skills

What capability can increase your earning power or make you more valuable to an enterprise?

Skill I will strengthen: __________________.

02

Assets

Identify productive assets that fit your knowledge, resources and risk tolerance.

Asset category I want to understand better: __________________.

03

Business ownership

Owning a business can create equity and control, but it also carries operating, financial and legal risk.

Business model I want to study: __________________.

04

Transfer

Legacy is not only accumulation. It includes stewardship, succession, beneficiaries, documentation and education of the next generation.

What do I want the next generation to inherit besides money?

LESSON 5 • THE INNER WORLD

Define the WHY before obsessing over the HOW.

LION teaches “99% WHY • 1% HOW” as a conviction principle, not a scientific statistic. The point is that strategy can change, while purpose and conviction help determine whether you keep learning, adapting and acting when a strategy fails.

SERPENT: examine beliefs and shed what is false.   LION: act from purpose, courage and conviction.

Your inner world influences the outer world you create.

Beliefs influence attention. Attention influences decisions. Decisions influence actions. Repeated actions become habits. Habits accumulate consequences.

Inner World → Decisions → Actions → Habits → Results → Outer World

The Five Whys

Write one financial or ownership goal. Ask “Why do I want this?” five times. Keep going until the answer reaches something deeper than the object itself—freedom, family, contribution, security, ownership, service or legacy.

My deepest WHY is __________________.

YOUR FIRST HUNT

One measurable action. Thirty days.

Choose one action that improves LIFE, TIME, ACCESS or LEGACY. Make it specific, measurable and deadline-driven.

SERPENT: set the strategy, measure the terrain and choose the target.   LION: execute the Hunt and report the result.

My 30-Day Hunt

I will ________________________________

I will measure completion by ___________

Accountability

At the end of 30 days ask: What did I promise? What did I execute? What happened? What did I learn? What is my next action?
